Xytech Platform 2025 Release - Known Issues - 11.1 – Fabric Help Center

Introduction

The following is a list of known high-severity issues in this release. In general, these issues are edge cases most users will not encounter. Currently, these issues are on the roadmap for the next release of the Platform.

Bids & Budgets

Actual Units are displayed on Budget but no Transactions have them

A known issue exists where a Bid Detail can display an Actual Units value of 1 when there are no Actual Units assigned to any corresponding Transaction(s). [26206 / zd12659]

Cost 1 field (Bid Totals tab) not calculated for Bids Details

A known issue exists where the Cost 1 value on a Bid Detail is not calculating correctly when loaded via a bid template. [26244 / zd11955]

Bid Actual Percentage Is Removed from Rate Set

A known issue exists where the percentage tier of a WO Actual Billing Code is not calculated correctly for a transaction. [26439]

Bid Notes Overwritten by Note ID when Amending Bid Salutation Note from Bids List

A known issue exists where amending the Salutation Bid Note from the notes popup in the Bids List overwrites any existing text in the “Internal Note” and “Bid Close Note” fields with the note ID value. [27136 / zd13548]

Changing Bid Detail Header Changes Header Descriptions Above It

A known issue exists where opening a Bid that has a large number of Detail Headers and Details, expanding all of the Detail Headers and Details, and updating the Description of a Detail record towards the bottom, sometimes modifies the Description values on other Headers in the Bid to match the new value. Bid package Master Row Added at the Bottom Regardless of Dsp Seq until Saving

A known issue exists where a WO in a Job has an approved Bid with a Master Package Billing Code. In the Order Transactions document for such a WO, the Billing tab displays the Master Row(s) at the bottom of the list of transactions upon first loading the information from the Bid, with the Detail rows higher up. This is despite the Dsp Seq (Display Sequence) showing that the Master Row(s) should be higher in the list. The workaround is to save and refresh the Order Transactions document. [26426 / zd12624]

Billing - Invoicing

'Agency_Client_Name' field is not populating on Invoice Form

A known issue exists where certain Document Customizations that override fields in the Invoice Form (Doc ID 160) using information from the Job document, such as the jm_job_agency_client_name field, are not populating data. [16672 / zd3702]

Billing code "Combine on Invoice" and "Package Type: Total: Detail invoice" interfere with each other and create inaccurate pre-invoice

A known issue exists where using a Billing Code with the Combine on Invoice option selected/checked and the Package Type option set to “Total: Detail invoice” causes some transactions to be included in the “-Incl w/ Pkg-” row when they should not be. The workaround is to avoid using these two settings together in the same Billing Code. [25571 / zd10556]

Billing Splits Invoice Split Field on Order and Transaction Level

A known issue exists where using the Invoice Split percentage field to split an invoice when the split percentages do not total 100% causes an error and changes the Invoice Split field to read-only. In addition, when using Transaction-level splits, the invoice generation creates separate, unexpected invoices for any transactions without billing codes. [26233 / zd11705]

System performance - View Invoice Form can take up to 30s on First Generation to PDF

A known issue exists where the View Invoice Form action in Job Management takes longer to generate the PDF file the first time (20 seconds to 1 minute) compared to subsequent generate/view operations (2 to 6 seconds). [27081 / zd13713]

Document Customizations

Dropdown/custom (multiselect) Query Returns ID Instead of Description

A known issue exists where Custom Fields that are defined as Dropdown/custom (multiselect) are now storing the index of the description/value only, instead of the index and description. This issue was introduced in v10.4. [25592 / zd12156]

Data Repeating Issue on Media Order Form Report - Calculated Field

A known issue exists where adding a calculated field (e.g. [service_desc] + [service_profile_desc]) to the L_mo_service_row section of a Media Order Form report layout causes the report to display the detail information multiple times. [25645 / zd12312]

Event Triggers

System is Not Sending Notification Email When Scheduling Exchange Status is Set to 'Accepted'

A known issue exists where an Event Trigger is configured to send a message when the Work Order Transaction document's Invitation Status ([exchange_status]) field is changed to "A" (for Accepted) but does not correctly fire when the specified change is made. [26348 / zd12729]

Hyperlink Not displaying in Notification Email correctly

A known issue exists where hyperlink text in the body of an Event Trigger email is displayed as plain text and not a clickable link, even when the Notification Template contains a valid <a href> element for a valid hyperlink. [26888 / zd12621]

Receiving Transactions That Have Not Been Updated

A known issue exists where an Event Trigger sends information from all Transactions in the WO (instead of only the Transaction that has changed) when it is configured to generate a notification using the Property Bag method and specific fields in the Order Transactions (trx_no, wo_no_seq, wo_no, and wo_seq) and Transaction Header (wo_no_seq) tables. Framework - UX

Deleting a child record ONLY does not update the Primary Table's Date/User Changed fields

A known issue exists where deleting a child record of a main document without changing any information on the main document itself does not update the main document's Date Changed/User Changed values. For example, when deleting a Work Order Split Billing Row without modifying any Work Order fields, the system does not update the Date Changed or User Changed fields of the Work Order. The workaround is to check the Change Log (from the Action menu, under Document, click Log), but this also affects sites that utilize webhooks or Event Triggers to notify an external system when a document changes. Mobile: Navigator Icons are overlapped or missing in Mobile on Calendar Page

A known issue exists where navigation icons at the bottom of the Next Gen Mobile calendar screen do not appear in the correct screen positions on mobile devices under certain circumstances. [27070]

Searching Job record via 'Territories' custom field does not return the job in the result.

A known issue exists where searching for records (such as Jobs) using some Custom Fields as search criteria does not return the expected result. This is related to a known issue where Custom Fields defined as Dropdown/custom (multiselect) store information differently than previous versions. [27075 / zd13133]

Groups

Group Resource list opens very slowly from the navigator, appears frozen for a minute

A known issue exists where opening the Group Resource List using a Layout that includes the Scheduler (timeline) control takes a long time (approximately 20 seconds or more). The workaround is to use only layouts that do not have the Scheduler control when viewing the Group Resources List directly, versus viewing the Group Resources List from inside of a particular Work Order, Media Order, or Transmission Order. Group Resource List pop-up doesn't show all Transactions in the Scheduler for a given timeframe

A known issue exists where the Group Resource List with Scheduling Block (doc ID 1306) does not display the transactions for any date other than the WO date when replacing an existing resource in a Work Order Transaction. [25603 / zd11558]

Import Utilities

Import Records Utility - Media Order Service - template creation fails when including default spec values

A known issue exists where the Import Records from Spreadsheet utility action to Create Template returns the error message, “The worksheet name must not exceed 31 characters” when the 'Default Spec Values - Service Rows' table is selected in the template. A workaround is to change the Prompt of the table to be shorter than 31 characters. [17067 / zd4484]

Layout Editor

Some Changes to Layout Properties Remove Description

A known issue exists where changing some Properties (such as the Active checkbox) of a Layout in Layout Editor can clear the Description field incorrectly. [25028]

Library Movements

View Picking List Fails

A known issue exists where the View Picking List action in the Library Movements List or Library Movement document results in one or more errors for some Movement records. [24707]

Login & Access

Login Navigator is blank and takes 20 seconds to load after login (Push to 11.0.SP-2 hot fix)

A known issue exists where users experience a delay after logging in to the system before the navigator panel on the left becomes visible. [27272 / zd13470]

Media Assets

Unable to enter Length values with Frames

A known issue exists where the Media Asset document does not allow the user to enter the number of frames as part of the Length field, which was possible using Document Customizations in a previous version. [27044 / zd13480]

On the Media Asset, Auto-Add Container Detail & Manual Add Detail Adds the Container Asset_No to its Own Detail

A known issue exists where the Auto-Add Container Detail action in the Media Asset document incorrectly applies the Asset No of the container asset when creating a new row, e.g. by scanning a valid barcode on a media asset. [27144]

Media Order

Import Records Utility - Media Order Service - template creation fails when including Default Spec Values

Clicking Project Activity Detail Links opens New Project Layout

A known issue exists where an Order Transactions List layout that includes Project Detail No opens the New Project layout when clicking the link, instead of opening the existing project and displaying the Activities tab with the appropriate Detail selected. [18930]

MO Service Search fails with Query Timeout even with extremely narrow criteria

A known issue exists where the MO Service Search times out when the only criteria is Due Date Range and the database contains many hundreds of thousands of Service Rows. [24243]

Data repeating issue on Media Order Form Report - Calculated Field

A known issue exists where adding a calculated field (e.g. [service_desc] + [service_profile_desc]) to the L_mo_service_row section of a Media Order Form report layout causes the report to display the Detail information multiple times. [25645 / zd12312]

Service Bill Units do not carry through to Transaction Bill Units

A known issue exists where the Service Row Unit is not setting the transaction Billing Unit to zero. This only occurs if the Billing Code has a Minimum Unit set, where the Service Row Unit of zero is setting the transaction to the minimum unit. [26945 / zd10181]

Search/Add Assets Failed with Error Message when Using Source Asset Description In Condition

A known issue exists where the 'Search/Add Assets' action in Media Order Services returns an error (“Invalid column name 'part_master_desc'”) when the Condition for the Service Profile Row is configured to search for Assets linked to a Title by the Source Asset description. A workaround is to configure the Condition to search by other Source Asset fields. [26998]

Usability | Operation fields - Disappearing text

A known issue exists where changes to fields in the Operations area of the Media Order document may revert to the original value instead of saving the update, especially when network latency is high. A workaround is to wait a few additional seconds after entering a value before moving to a different field. (While this may reduce the likelihood of the date reverting, it is not a reliable solution as the issue can still occur.) [27019 / zd13519]

Usability | Service fields - Disappearing text

A known issue exists where changes to fields in the Service area of the Media Order document may revert to the original value instead of saving the update, especially when network latency is high. A workaround is to wait a few additional seconds after entering a value before moving to a different field. Service Due Dates updating Order Start and End Times when Cancel Selected

A known issue exists where updating the Due Date on a Service Row of a Media Order correctly triggers a warning when the Due Date is before the Order Begin Date/Time or after the Order End Date/Time, but incorrectly retains the specified value and updates the Order date/time values when the user clicks Cancel. (This only occurs when the Auto Sync Service Due Date setting is enabled and configured to “Warn” in the Media Order Preferences.) [27091 / zd12431]

Adding a computed field incorrectly alters the number of rows displayed in reports

A known issue exists where creating a calculated field and adding it to a report header in the Media Order Service And Source Report incorrectly alters the number of child/data rows displayed in the table. [27190 / zd13850]

MO Service Search - Unable to search Specs ending with bracket (])

A known issue exists where the MO Service Search fails to retrieve the expected services when searching for Descriptions that end with a closing bracket character (]). A workaround is to remove the ] character when performing a search. [27281 / zd13891]

Mobile

Mobile: After Login to the Mobile platform when User click or tap on "<" it's Log you out.

A known issue exists where the < (Back) button in the Next Gen Mobile UI incorrectly logs the user out instead of returning to a previous view. [27060]

Mobile: Navigator Icons are Overlapped/ Missing in Mobile on Calendar Page

A known issue exists where navigation icons at the bottom of the Next Gen Mobile calendar screen do not appear in the correct screen positions on mobile devices under certain circumstances. [27070]

Rental

Barcode cannot be added to some existing Resources

A known issue exists where assigning a Barcode to a Resource returns the error message “Save failed: Specified cast is not valid” when the specified barcode value exists as a Resource Code on another Resource in the system. [20207]

Issues with Subrental Checkouts

A known issue exists where posting a Check In action for a sub-rental resource that was added manually using a barcode instead of the Load action generates an error message, 'The UPDATE statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint “fk_jm_move_detail_subrental”.' This issue was introduced after v11.0. [27234]

Resources

Barcode Cannot Be Added to Some Existing Resources

A known issue exists where assigning a Barcode to a Resource returns the error message “Save failed.: Specified cast is not valid” because the specified barcode value exists as a Resource Code on another Resource in the system. [20207]

Group Resource list opens very slow from the navigator, appears frozen for a minute

Group Resource List pop-up doesn't show all transactions in the scheduler for a given timeframe

Grid Update on Scheduling Resources throws "layout not found" error when trying to assign contact to "Assign to " field

A known issue exists where the Grid Update: Scheduling Resources area displays a message (“there are no available layouts”) and does not present the Contact list when assigning a contact using the “Assign to” field. A workaround is to open the Resource document or use Rapid Update to make the change. [27157 / zd13740]

The Default Aisle displays as number on the Scheduling Resource list

A known issue exists where the Scheduling Resources List displays the ID number instead of the corresponding text description in the Default Aisle column when a Scheduling Resource is assigned a Default Aisle. [27158 / zd13785]

Roster - Time Off

Roster Time Off Search Shouldn't Default User as Criteria

A known issue exists where the Roster Time Offs search is incorrectly applying the user's linked Resource as a default value when the 'Limit to Logged In Resource' Rights Code is not applied. [8196]

Roster Time Duplication Issue

A known issue exists where duplicating rosters from either the Schedule book or from within the Roster tab on the resource picks the day before the selected date. This appears to be limited to systems where the Master time zone is not set to UTC 00:00, especially in systems that migrated from an on-premises installation to a hosted/cloud environment. Can Edit Roster even when Off Type has unticked 'Allow Change'

A known issue exists where deselecting/clearing the Allow Change setting in the Off Type Class is not correctly restricting the user from making changes to the Off Types of that class. This issue was introduced in 11.2. [27159 / zd13462]

Schedule Book

Order Type Change on Existing QH or Dynamic Booking in SB

A known issue exists where the user clicks on an existing Quick Hold (WO and MO Type booking) or Dynamic Booking (any type) in Schedule Book to open the booking popup window, and the Booking Type field incorrectly appears to be editable, but changes made to the field are not saved. (This item was previously listed as a Known Issue for v10.6.SP-3 and v11.0.SP-2.) [25000]

Group Resource List pop-up doesn't show all transactions in the scheduler for a given timeframe

When adding Groups with different Divisions on the Scheduling View, some Groups are disappearing

A known issue exists where adding multiple Scheduling Groups that belong to different Divisions as Items in a Scheduling View causes some Groups to not be visible in the Scheduling Calendar, even if the user can access all the appropriate Groups. [25875]

Client Reported Slowness When User Opens User Scheduling Views

A known issue exists where using the Navigation bar to click Scheduling, then Setup, and then User Scheduling Views can take more than a minute to open the appropriate page when hundreds or thousands of users are configured in the system. [26198 / zd10287]

Clicking 'Now' on Schedule Book makes the browser tab unresponsive

A known issue exists where viewing multiple days in the Schedule Book (by clicking the calendar icon and using Shift+click to select multiple dates) and clicking the Now button causes the browser tab to become unresponsive for several minutes and then display an out-of-memory error. [27008 / zd13517]

Can Edit Roster even when Off Type has 'Allow Change' deselected/cleared

Main Book and Views flashes to black then white - change hover text to on demand

A known issue exists where part of a performance issue with large Scheduling Views. Now, hover text for order and off time bookings loads on demand instead of when the View is loaded. Other performance issues have been moved to future bugs. [27183 / zd12375]

Time Card

Time Log Creates Orders from 5:00 pm to 5:00 pm

A known issue exists where adding entries to the Time Log Tab within a Time Card Batch and setting the Time Card Activity, Billing Code, and Job Number values creates Work Orders with incorrect Begin and End times (i.e. not midnight). (Note: to create WOs automatically, Time Card Preferences must be set to Auto Create Work Order and a default Work Order Type must be configured.) [23485]

Titles

Search with Multi-Select Field doesn't work

A known issue exists where searching for records (such as Titles) using some Custom Fields as search criteria does not return the expected result. This is related to a known issue where Custom Fields defined as Dropdown/custom (multi-select) store information differently than previous versions. [27314 / zd13928]

Transmission

Clicking Project Activity Detail Links Opens New Project Layout

User Preference MO Type Applied to Transmission Orders

A known issue exists where setting the default W/O Type for a Media Order also applies that default value to Transmission Orders. [24256]

Rapid Update Transmission Orders is not working for Line Up, Start and End time

A known issue exists where Transmission Order Line Up, Start Time, and End Time are not updated correctly when using Rapid Update. [26546]

MCR - Apply Transmission Service Template opens Media Order Service Template list

A known issue exists where navigating to Transmission > MCR, selecting one or more Orders, and clicking the Apply Transmission Service Template action (in the Transmission Orders section) displays the Media Order Service Template list instead of the Transmission Orders Template List. [27191 / zd13699]

Users

User Pref MO Type Applied to Transmission Orders

A known issue exists where setting the default W/O Type for a Media Order also applies that default value to Transmission Orders. [24256]

Work Orders

Clicking Project Activity Detail Links Opens New Project Layout

W/O Template Loading Issues

A known issue exists where loading a W/O Template that contains a template header with a default time range into a WO with different times does not correctly adjust the WO Transaction times when the user selects 'No' when asked if the Template times should override the Order times. [24370]

Bid package Master Row Added at the Bottom Regardless of Dsp Seq until Saving

Transmission Order Transaction List Report not splitting into separate Sheets when Exporting to XLSX

A known issue exists where exporting to Microsoft Excel XLSX format incorrectly splits pages onto different sheets. [27040 / zd13328]
