Introduction
In managing resources within your system, you may encounter situations where the need arises to update resource codes. However, you might notice that the option to modify these codes is greyed out on the resource document, posing a challenge. Fortunately, the Platform offers a convenient solution through its built-in utility, allowing you to update one or more resource codes simultaneously.
Resource Code Change
Follow these steps to efficiently carry out the necessary updates:
- Navigate to Scheduling > Utilities > Resource Code Change.
- Add a row for each resource you intend to update.
- Enter the former resource code in the "Old Resource Code" field.
- Input the new resource code in the "New Resource Code" field, ensuring no spaces are included.
- Click on "Save and Close" to finalize your changes.
By following these steps, you can seamlessly initiate the update process, ensuring that the resource codes are adjusted according to your requirements.
